Hi All.
I'm a new (and first time) dog owner. A 5 Y.O. female named Diva. Her previous owners had her from a pup. They were moving and couldn't take her.
She's had a rough couple weeks with us. About a week of severe separation anxiety. Then a week later she was spayed (this was supposed to be done by the previous owners before we took her and she'd be more comfortable with them but they didn't) When she was all healed from her surgery she was playing in the backyard and cut her paw on a sprinkler. This dog loves playing in the water more than anything.
She's finally settling in and is just the best dog ever (maybe a bit too much barking at the doorbell but we hope to train her to not do that...and not with a shock collar). Loves to curl up on the sofa with me. Loves fetching sticks and loves running around. And loves having her picture taken
