Went to visit him at boot camp today. He's been gone about 5 weeks. He's grown a bit and learning so much! I can't wait to have him home soon, so I can work with him myself. And those ears...Sometimes they're both up for a week or so, then one will flop for a bit. Seems as if we'll be using forms in one or the other for a while. At some point, I'm simply going to stop thinking about it. He's a lovely dog with a fabulous temperment. This isn't a very clear photo, but it's the best I had today. Thanks for peeking at Dex.

Thanks.

He'll be gone another week or two. Then his older brother, Luke, goes in. I think it's working well for him. He clearly was happy to see Luke and I today, but wasn't so obsessed with Luke, which I'm really glad about. When they were together, no one and nothing else existed, so I think that, along with some good training, I'm glad that their bond will loosen a bit. Happily, they played and got along really well after not seeing one another for more than a month. But, they're both pretty easy going that way.
