This girl was brought into the ER vet on 12/27/10 and has been waiting at the shelter for rescue ever since. Jamie has received no inquiries on this girl and she is now urgent. If you are interested in adoption/rescue, please contact Jamie Martinez, info listed below. Please crosspost!

This dog is a SUPER sweet female German Shepherd. She is about 3 years old, possibly a little older. Her front two feet are swollen and it is very painful for her to put weight on them. She was taken to the emergency vet when she was picked up. She is in need of rescue ASAP. Her injuries require her to have a cage all by herself and we are extremely limited on space. Please contact me ASAP if your rescue can take her in.

I love her. Her feet remind me of Gumby. She is super sweet. Dog friendly but in by


herself because she's injured. It's hard for them to house dogs individually with so many so she really needs out.

She has wounds on them, they have been cleaned and she's been on medications for both infection and swelling. The vet only did a very basic eval so I am not sure what further care will be required. She does look better per AC.

The shelter sent out the ER vet report but it isn't particularly informative beyond swelling/injuries & the meds they put her on. It's a PDF so I can't post it here but will send it on to anyone interested.

Thank you for the conversion Jax08 - perhaps she has a staph infection in those feet......... good to know that she's on meds and will hopefully be feeling better soon.

She's feeling better but REALLY needs rescue, if no one comes soon I worry she won't make it out the front door. They really like her at the shelter and are trying to hold her but do not have the space to do so.

I received another email on her last night saying no contacts have been made to the shelter for her- I sent them an email to verify that info and if not, I will take her. I will update more information when I get a response from my email....
