I love that natural stack, not a show stack.
Much easier to assess his conformation this way. He is a really sturdy, big-boned male with an absolutely GORGEOUS, gorgeous coat density, rich pigment, (but some pigment could be a bit darker-- withers/bottom of saddle area) nice big male head. Sok does look like he didn't come out of W. Germany. He has the look of some of the earlier German showlines-- straighter topline, nice heavy bone.. my kind of boy! His expression and build really aren't carbon-copy of what we today see in the W. German style show ring. I think he looks great! He would IMHO hopefully contribute to improving toplines if he were bred. His head and earset just seems kinda Danish/Norwegian to me.. the W. German show kennels there have some nice dogs that sometimes don't look as clone-like as what we are seeing in the ring now. (and I do like W. German showline dogs a lot!
) Nice to see such a solid, almost old style dog!
HANDSOME.
So very nice to see those titles on him, too!

The Czech showline dogs that I have seen coming from showline kennels do not always follow the W. German trends as closely, and IMHO their dogs are still beautiful... but tend to also be assertive, intelligent, and very, very WORKABLE dogs.

Bump bump bump for this thread.. a great chance for people to see Santo. When countries like Czech, Norway, etc breed showline W. German GSDs, sometimes the dogs end up looking just a bit "different"-- a bit stronger, straighter topline, furrier ears.. not so carbon-copy as the W. German showline dogs from, say, most of the Holland and Belgium kennels. Appearance aside, these dogs can be more stable and healthy, with a bit more drive.

Sorry.. he makes me feel so in looove... my first GSD was a Czech import show line!
