Hey guys Our vet give Jax Credelio flea prevention on Friday but he’s still digging. I see no sign of fleas. What do I need to do to help his dry skin? What else could it be? He eats raw chicken and beef plus dry food. I guess where do I need to start with eliminating things? What’s a common allergy? He’s 10wks weight 22 lbs

Did the vet see evidence of fleas on Jax? Either active fleas or flea 'dirt'? If so, the pup is probably just still dealing with the itchiness of the previous flea bites. Some dogs have more of a reaction or allergy to the bites, so the itchiness lingers for a while.

If Jax continues to be itchy after the flea bites have healed, it could be either dry skin, food allergies, or seasonal allergies. Both beef and chicken can be culprits if it's food allergies. What dry food are you feeding him and is the raw chicken and beef you're adding an actual raw mix appropriate for puppies' growth or just raw meat that you're adding?

Edited to add: Jax is a cute pup!
