Hi,
we have a 3 year old neutered GSD. He is constantly haunting our 7 year old border collie. He steals toys, is always wanting to play and bothers him endlessly. If the border collie has a toy, the GSD HAS to have THAT toy. He gets attention all the time, mostly because he demands it, so it's not a lack of attention thing. If someone comes to the house or even calls on the phone, he bothers and demands attention. He's not aggressive, and doesn't try to fight.. he just haunts and bothers until the border collie becomes annoyed and angry. We've tried putting him in a "time out" situation when he gets too annoying, and that will work for a little while, but if the other dog gets up or moves.. or if one of us gets up or moves, it's game on. He does this with visitors as well. Any suggestions as to how to stop this behavior would be GREATLY appreciated!!

We tried this some today. It had some impact on him. I think consistency and realization that his annoying behavior is going to get him taken out of play may just do the trick.. fingers crossed!! Thanks! If anyone else has any other suggestions.. please.. feel free to chime in... this is one head-strong GSD! I know.. aren't they all!
