i think doing what works best for you and your dogs is what makes everything work. Shasta has been learning to walk nicely on the leash since we got her. She knows sit. She's recently learned down pretty nicely. She knows paw, other paw, high five and speak and quiet. We're working on getting her to focus on me "watch me" instead of being so easily distracted. The methods i've used to work on her training havent worked for my other dogs so i had to find what worked best all around. I think you're doing a great job, Mrs. K!
