Beautiful, very sweet female german shepherd looking for a new home. She is completely house trained and crate trained. My husband and I rescued her from deplorable conditions. She was underweight, but is very healthy now and is up to date on all shots and is spayed. We have another dog who is an alpha female and although they tolerate each other, she can be toy aggressive. We took her hoping that her and our female boxer would get along. That unfortunately, has not been the case. She is very loyal and will bond with one person, most likely a female. Based on her behavior with men, it is our assumption that she was abused. She listens to my husband, but can be a little skiddish at times. If you have no experience with a german shepherd, she would not be the dog for you. She is extremely smart, but with all German Shepherds, must be active. She walks 45 minutes a day and plays ball in the backyard for an additional hour each day. She is on a schedule. Consistency is very important to her. She is friendly with other people and has not show signs of aggression towards adults or teenagers. We have not had her exposed to small children so I am not sure how she would act. She seems to like small dogs, but the larger ones make her want to be alpha and in working with her we have not been able to break this. She is not a Beta dog, she is definitely alpha. She really needs to be the only dog in the house. I am not asking for a rehoming fee. I want someone who understands and has had experience with German Shepherds to give her the right home.

She is very beautiful and such a baby. Too bad they label her with Alpha crap -- oops that probably means I am questioning things again.

She is just two months older than my Joy Joy.

No rehoming fee. The wrong people could scarf her up.

When are people going to recognize that sometimes adolescent/adult females will not be buddy buddy? Ooops, again, this is about the dogs not the people.

Hope someone can get this pup to safety.

All that exercise and schedule, it does sound like a pup for someone willing to commit to a high energy dog.

Thanks for posting Jen.

Thanks Sue ! ;) I keep an eye out on CL. I do email people when charging no
fee & tell them, plz don't do that b/c just anyone will come get your dog &
might not be a good outcome. :( I didn't with this one yet.

Makes me sad, many nice dogs just being gave away or dumped.
