Does anyone feed their dog chia seeds?
I've been giving them to the horses and their coats look great :)
Just wonder if the dogs would actually digest them?

Cheers

Do they go slimy in the water??
It sounds like they swell up and go jelly like, kinda like boiling linseed for the horses :)

Yes they swell up, I wouldn't give them to critters dry. I haven't noticed anything, you can't go by me I'm waiting test results lyme or chronic fatigue. I tried them for curbing my appetite.

Yep they go slimy. I have a litre bottle I put 1 tablespoon of chia seeds in so there is not enough to turn it to jelly.

You can make it jelly like with less water and use as an egg substitute in recipes.

I suffer from Fibromyalgia...this was something I tried out of desperation...not a cure but it has helped me. I also use macca root powder in smoothies. Almost forgot to say I add Gus' Phyt'n chance in smoothies.
