Sandy started chasing cars yesterday for some reason. Before that, he chased joggers, cyclists and anything that would move. But now he's chasing cars. He's not aggressive with them, I even think that he's playing with the cars (he smiles), but this is very dangerous. He would whine or give a high bark at the cars if i don't let him chase it and would get mad and start chasing his own tail. I'm so tired of always chasing after him, literally. Now we have to go to the fenced park which is a very long drive away. I wish he wouldn't chase cars so I dont understand why out of all the dogs Ive seen only Sandy would chase things that move. Sandy is 8 months and people get scared when he chases them. please help!

Whether Sandy is aggressive or playful, he should not be allowed loose. If a cyclist or jogger gets scared and falls, you will be liable for the accident.

Sandy sees moving objects (people, cars) as a chance to practice his prey drive. He is an 8 month pup and has not yet earned off leash time - some dogs never do. Please keep him in a secure fenced area for others' safety and his own.

Until a dog is 100% reliable on recall, it should be under control at all times.
