to actually get to stretch out on your couch?

I wouldn't know. I would imagine it is quite comfortable. Right now I am squished on the end with one GSD sprawled out on one end, and the other squished in the middle laying half on top of me. My right leg is twisted in this God awful position and the left one has lost all feeling because it's trapped under my other one.

I suppose if I sit her long enough like this I will eventually lose all feeling in my lower body and the comfort level will increase just a bit from lack of pain.

I once had a "no dogs on the couch" rule. What happened with that?

Might I mention I have to pee too!

Anyone else suffer through pain just so you don't disturb the sleeping canines?

LOL never have. Rocky has his couch spot but he knows that the humans get their choice of seats first.

Of course if he is on the couch and I have a snack he will crawl right up next to me and try to sit on my lap, but he just doesnt fit anymore LOL

I can hold his head and part of his shoulders (but not very much) LOL

What's a couch? Is it that furniture the dogs here own? DW and I are never on the couch. Odin takes up 2/3 of a standard couch and Frigga has the other 1/3. DW and I have recliners that the cats try to push us out of.
Everytime I try to move an inch and make myself more comfortable Maiya makes this groaning sound like I am disturbing her.

you don't have any complaints. enjoy the privilege that a GSD wants to be on the sofa with you.

You mean you get to sit on the couch?
5 dogs + 1 couch + 1 recliner = all humans on the floor.

I dont think shes complianing at all, any more then I do dealing with the same situaiton. If it was a complaint she wouldnt allow the dog on the couch to begin with!!!

Do you go around just looking to start crap??? Ive noticed in a few threads its like you go out of your way to insult people or just try to cause trouble.

So, what is your deal.
ahhh mama, i feel your pain, its not often i get to sit on mine, and then when i do, bearla thinks its aperfect time to stretch out across me and she also complains if i move. lol she loves to try to get my sketching equipment out of my arms if i sit on the couch to use the large coffee table to sketch her. lol hopefully you can get up and go to the bathroom soon. try asking them what the noise is outside and knock on the wall behind you, gauranteed way to get them off so you can go.

LOL! Yes that would be one way! But then I have two jumping, barking dogs rather then two quiet sleeping dogs. I guess I have to choose the lesser of two evils!

Right now I am only sharing with one so I'm stretched out using her as my foot prop.
