In all of my reading and researching, I have learned that high protein levels are just fine for pups (as long as its from a quality source), and that calcium levels over 1.7 are bad because it makes bones grow too fast. (I know this is way oversimplified, but I hope everyone understands the point)
So, what I'm now wondering... If feeding RAW to a pup, surely they get LOTS of calcium from eating those bones, right? How does this differ from a higher calcium content in other food?
Thanks!
