I have had Fiona a good nine months now. So why is she still sniffing my behind? Sometimes more than once a day. Sometimes with only 10 minutes in between sniffs. Is this normal GSD behavior? Fiona's mom is a certified narcotics dog, so she should have a good sniffer. But come on!

Dogs sniff butts, it's what they do. Perfectly normal. If you don't want her to then tell her not to.
At the risk of being negative: Dogs detect abnormalities. You might want to get a colonoscopy
just to be safe.

That's what dogs do. I think too, they use it to identify you. Just to make sure you are who you look like you are.

If you smell like you did before, it's you. :D

When we go for walks in places that we have to drive to .... when the walk is done I say, "Go find the car!" and she runs to the parking lot and if she doesn't find the car right away she smells the 'butts' of all the cars until she finds ours.
