Hi, I just got a new puppy, he is 9 weeks old, and despite having had no training formally, and us having had him for 4 days, he will already come when asked, is toilet trained, and will retrieve say 80% of the time (gets tired), I am so stoked, and we have taught this all without rewards other than our cuddles and excited voices.

I want to know if its possible to use the command like "Bring the Thunder" to get him to bark, or is that too confusing if it involves his name?

Hmmm, might be confusing. You don't want to inadvertently teach him to bark every time you say his name. You could do something like "Bring it on!" if you don't want to use a single word command.

Sounds like your pup is doing great!!! Dr, Ian Dunbar Suggested using the words Defend or alert for barking on command, i thought those were pretty cute
