I was wondering if bottle fed puppies are any different than those raised by the dam either in health, temperament or socially.

Our local shelter found an abandoned litter (not GSDs) and has been bottle feeding.

A whole litter being bottle fed develops somewhat better then the single pups that get bottle fed. Both will benefit from a nanny dog and it is important to note that the natural system of working for their food seems to result in puppies with better body fat levels, better coordination and fewer digestive issues. Attention must be paid to timing of feedings and dehydration needs to be watched for.
In the course of bottle feeding pups naturally get handled more, but seem more prone to developing SA. Without a nanny dog social skills are often lacking and dog aggression seems more common.

I am not an expert. Just my experience from raising bottle babies.
