Hey, I'm looking for something that I can use for Marco to board the boat from the dock and also to re-board the boat when (if) he's in the water. The most important thing right now is getting him from the dock to the boat - we are on a lift so we're able to get it even with the dock - it would be straight across. I just don't want him jumping and he's now officially too big to carry (he just hit the 35 pound mark).

There are pet ladders made just for dogs to get on boats. Do a Google search. Pet Loader is one product. The ones I've seen look like they could used for getting the dog into the boat off the dock and from the water.
