Taking Abby to vet today for spotting. She was spayed 10 months ago, so she isn't in season. So we shall see.....

Any update? How is she doing?

Definitely worth checking for sure. But actually it IS possible for her to come into heat even though she was spayed. If a bit of ovarian tissue is missed during the spay, they can still have hormonal heat cycles, including vaginal bleeding. We learned this first had as our Nara was spayed 9 years ago (she's now 11) and she still comes into heat sometimes.

This happened when Kimbo was spayed. The vet was able to remove the bit of tissue and found that little cysts had started to form. After this operation she never had any more spotting.
