Blaze had a hip xray taken yesterday at 8 months of age.

His vet took like 8 films trying to get position right and still was unable to do so 100%. Said Blaze's back is a bit bony and that he tried with pillows under him but still couldn't get the perfect shot. On the best shot he did get he said that yes it would look a bit different if positioned perfectly, but that he saw some thickening of the right 'neck' and just that he would like to see it again at 2 years of age and to start him on a joint supplement now. Manipulated his hips while sedated and said they were very tight which was good. So I don't think there's any concern necessarily, but thought I'd post it here to see if anyone had an opinion.

Thanks!

I agree with the comments from your vet. But it <could> be that the right side was canted upward. As you can see that the pelvis is either deformed or more likely imo just not positioned straight.
