My 1 year old rockie has got himself into yet another spot of bother. I noticed early this morning he's been licking his paw excessively. Checked it this afternoon and found a large red bump. Managed to get a pic, but rockie doesn't like his paws being handled so really hard. We did manage to get a good look when he was sleeping and cant see anything stuck there that could be causing this swelling.
He's acting totally normal, eating drinking peeing pooping, running around like crazy with our other pup and is not limping even slightly. I'm going to see how it goes for the next few days, called the vet and they suggested an Epsom salt bath. I'm super worried though! My husband suggested it could be a bee sting? Lots of them flying round the yard at the moment perhaps he stepped on one.

I'd use Epsom salt as your vet suggested. If nothing else it should help reduce the swelling so you can get a better view of the cause.
