Hope everyone is doing well. My dog has recently created a bald spot on her body by itching/biting. Would anyone happen to know as to why this is happening? Should we go to the vet? Your help is very much appreciated!
-Luna is three years old
-Diet is raw meat (has been eating the same diet her whole life)
-Sleeps in her crate
-We live in Vancouver, B.C.
-There hasn't been any changes to her environment recently,=

We resqued our 3 1/2 old in early January this year. She had the same issue. She was malnourished and stressed. I would definitely take her to the Vet. if you can afford to do so. They administered a cyto-point injection which really helped with the itching and put her on Antibiotics for the hot spot bald patch. I would recommend a better diet with some Omega 3 (fish oil) but talk to your vet about nutrition. Hope this helps, let me know if you need more information.
