Does anyone in the US have an AVID microchip tag handy and can tell me the phone number on there that people are supposed to call if they find your animal? Kaylee's cheap plastic tag has been chewed all to heck at daycare, so I am ordering a steel one with all the relevant info. AVID's site seems to have been built ages ago and I am having difficulty finding a number anywhere.

Does AVID have their own registry? If not, the phone number on the tag should be whatever program the chip is registered through. I know of the AKC Companion Animal Recovery (CAR), and Home Again, but there may be other registries.
