Hi All.

We have two Shepherds now. We have been told by the GSD club of Victoria that Cara is a purebred, but I'm not sure if Rocky is purebred. Is it just me or does he have a bit of Husky in him?

If you don't have registration papers, you cannot be sure they are purebred. If you do have registration papers from a reputable registry, AKC, FCI, SV, CKC (Canadian Kennel Club), than you can be relatively sure they are purebred.

I see two GSDs. I am not sure why you are concerned with whether they are pure-bred or not.

I'm not concerned at all to be honest, just curious.

Wouldn't trade Rocky for any other dog in the world, even if someone told me he wasn't a purebred. He's the most gentle dog I've ever had the pleasure of meeting!

Thanks for the responses guys.

Coming from an owner of 2 huskies...no husky in those GSDs. Good looking dogs as well!! Rocky is a good name! I have a husky named Rocky haha

Both look like 100 % GSD's to me. :)
