Our two usual dog sitters fell through at the last minute, and I'm trying to find a place within a ~2 hr drive of Philadelphia where I feel comfortable letting my german shepherd stay. He is dog selective - great with 99% of dogs, has an issue with 1%. So looking for something with more structure than typical daycare environment with owners who are smart on dog behavior.
Anyone near Philly / New Jersey have vacation boarding recommendations?

Philadelphia Pet Hotel and Villas https://www.phillypethotel.com/ (associated with Philadelphia Animal Hospital https://philadelphiaanimalhospital.com/), out near the Philly airport, is good. Very flexible in terms of outdoor play time options. The latter is our vet and we've boarded our dogs there too. Our GSD is a lot like yours (99% fine with other dogs, but considers black standard poodles/doodles to be mortal enemies and isn't very fond of wire haired pointers/Griffons either).
