In stores, I've seen these sticks called "Beef Jerky". I've heard that it's pretty rough to chew. My question is, is beef jerky a good snack or chew thing to give your dog or does it have sugar in it? I wouldn't know because I've never eaten beef jerky.

Read the Ingredient list in the package. A quick search on Google tells me among other ingredients Soy Sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper. None of these are good for your dog.

The beef crunchies (see recipes) are great, the dogs love them and they are so easy to make. You may want to try them.

Are you postitive those are the ingredients for DOG Beef Jerky?

I don't know. It's just the beef jerky the hunters buy and eat. I didn't know there was Dog beef jerky.
