Ive been feeding my puppy who is 6 months and 2 weeks old right now, BB Large Breed Puppy and after hearing about the recalls and what everyone is saying on here, Im wondering if I should switch, I was planning on keeping him on this till around a year then switching to the Wilderness brand but after hearing all of this recall stuff, I dont know. I mean I know mistakes do happen sometimes but Im just wondering if it would be ok to continue my plan? Should I switch to Orijen or just keep on feeding the BB, my puppy loves it but I want whats best for him.

Thanks for any help.

IMO Orijen is a much better food but who's to say your dog will enjoy it and do well on it. If you can afford it then I think its worth a try recall or not.

If you are not comfortable feeding BB anymore due to recalls then you could also try out something like Wellness and then when your pup is an adult switch to the Wellness Core. I still think BB is a much better food than most out there but if I were in your shoes I'd probably be looking for a new food too.

My gang is on Wilderness and I'm not planning on switching. The recall was geographical (my state was impacted) and only use by July bags were affected.
I went to their site and read their statement. They didn't try to hide anything, did a voluntary recall and have corrected the situation.
