Hello All:

I am looking to switch my pup's food from Fromm LBP to something more "interesting for him." Stool wise he is fine on it but i always have to add something for him to eat it and he never finishes it. He's about 38lbs and 17 weeks. So i am looking for a more to his liking. And i have come up with 3. Please let me know your thoughts

1. Orijen 6 Fish
2. Orijen Regional Red
3. TOTW PACIFIC STREAM PUPPY FORMULA

I greatly appreciate it.

I'm having the same problem with my pup! He is also on Fromm LBP. He used to like it a lot the first couple of weeks but now he doesn't get excited anymore. Maybe I need to change his food too... hmmm...

I tried Argos on the Orijen because I heard that blue buffalo had been recalled but he refuses to eat the Orijen large breed puppy so I switched him from large breed puppy blue buffalo to blue buffalo puppy wilderness but still need to add tripe to get him to eat it

Delgado ate Fromm LBP, I soaked it with a little warm water and added a tablespoon of their Gold canned food each meal. He would have eaten it dry but my poodle's picky and I make meals as equal as possible between the two lol. Also a raw egg a few times a week

Kibble toppers are not a bad thing, fresh tripe is another topper though your nose won't be thanking you, it's pretty nasty smelling

If I had to choose a different brand I'd go to Orijen first without hesitation

I am no expert but i had my 4 month old on orijen and he had loose stools because it was to rich for him and i switched him back to Eukanuba to firm him up and i am almost completley switched to Acana and he is doing great on it.

I also add FortiFlora to his food for probiotics and man he likes the bowl after he is done like crazy.

i havent tried yet the Acana by it seld with out the FortiFlora but will do that when he completley switched wich should be in couple days.

just be carefull because Orijen might be to rich for him. and it is the same company orijen and acana.

I am pulling my hair out as I have tried TOTW High Prairie Puppy, Orijen LBP and now Fromm LBP. I'm like dude what do you wwwwaaaannnnttttttt lol hahahha. I am hoping orijen regional red or 6 fish work since more real meat is added for the lure is stronger.

I add tripe, ground turkey. ground beef and once that is gone. He doesn't touch the kibble. Grrrrrrr

I have added toppers, and once the toppers are gone, he's done! I think i will be choosing Orijen but staying away from LBP and just doing RR or 6F.

I add an egg 3x's a week, along with canned pumpkin/sweet potato and salmon oil. Vit E pill 3xs a week and 1tbsp of plain yogurt every meal.
