Thank you for your help with the title format, ILGHAUS.

Thank you for posting his picture and information, elliecd--he's housetrained, neutered, and UTD on shots.

I agree, Melinda; he looks younger than 10 to me, also.

DIRECTIONS from I 84 east or west:

From the West take I 84 to exit 5 - Rt. 208 Exit, turn left onto Rt. 208; drive approximately 1 mile to Rt. 17K, make a left onto 17K; Drive past Ward's Bridge in Montgomery, turn right onto Albany Post Road, the shelter signs will be on the left about 2 miles up.

From the East take I 84 to exit 6 - Rt. 17K Exit, turn right onto 17K; Drive past Ward's Bridge in Montgomery, turn right onto Albany Post Road, the shelter signs will be on the left about 2 miles.

Mason is a 10-year-old male GSD who is a good dog and in good health. He's an owner turn-in; owner is moving and could not take him.

Here's his Petfinder link:

It certainly does Landosmom. Ten years of faithful companionship, ten years of dedication and what does it get him??? Dumped in a dump. I'm sure he is haunted by thoughts of what he must of done that was so wrong that he ended up there!!!

I'm in Charleston, but I could take him here. The founder of a no-kill shelter has a friend looking for a calm, sweet, older GSD companion for his 13 year old GSD and he'll be back in town on 7/24. We could take him in the meantime, I doubt he'd be any trouble. Can he make it down here?

He's just over 2 hours from me. I might be able to pull him, but I'd need to get him moving again soon. Hmmm.

We have someone driving to NY next week, and will be able to bring him down as far as VA that weekend (19/20), but we will have to find out if the shelter will hold him another week. If not, we might need a temp foster.
