As some may know from my other threads Abby went in for her spay
operation on the 6th. She had some bleeding a few days later requiring
a three day stay at the clinic.

She has been home for a week now and I was told to keep her quiet
and give her some time to recuperate. I think she has been taking
advantage of the situation. I offer up the following photographic evidence.

First we have Abby recuperating in the good chair...

Next we have Abby crashed out on her day bed...

Crashed out on the throw rug...

Snoozing in the recliner...

Again in the recliner...

Lounging rather strangely on the couch. Not sure what this position
represents. Maybe the vet told her to keep her butt elevated...

Oh how cute!! She certainly has given 'taking it easy' to a whole new level. I'm so glad she's resting and feeling better. Stosh has literally slept for 5 days straight, just got up to eat, go potty, and see the vet. I'm convinced that these dogs know what's best for them. I have to say that last one of Abby is so funny...but kind of weird!

I think you are right. I was convinced that keeping Abby quiet for
a whole week was going to be impossible. But she was really good.
She really didnt give me much trouble at all.

She must be pretty well healed up because her energy level is beginning to ramp up.
Next time it snows I will turn her loose for some snow zoomies...

So glad to see Abby has healed nicely. I was keeping an eye on your posts because I had Jamie spayed the day after Abby. My girl did not have any complications, but I sure kept a close eye on her. I had to tether her to me to keep her still for a week. The first thing she did once her sutures were out was zoomies when she got home back with Victor. Once again so glad Abby is ok. :)
