Abby...6 months old TODAY!

May 12 to November 12...6 months. Cant believe how much she has
grown. The day I got her at the breeders I swept her up with one hand
and held her in the crook of my arm. Now she is 61 pounds.

Lets get to the pictures...

You dont know how hard it is to take a photo with
one hand while a 60 pound dog is pulling on the other.

You mean like this one?

This was during her "I dont want my picture taken,
I dont want to be out here, I dont want to do whatever
it is you want me to do" phase. What a difference a
couple of months make..

Oh yeah, just like that one! I don't know what it is about her, but she still cracks me up. She's becoming a very lovely girl.

She is gorgeous! I love her muzzle, the coloring is just right so she has that "I just dug in to something .. you dont want to know what!" mischievous look. She has beautiful eyes, too.

Really? She doesnt seem huge. Although everybody
we meet keeps saying how big she is getting.
I guess I dont notice since I see her 24/7.

She was gaining about 3 pounds a week but seems
to have slowed a bit. Just 3 pounds in the last two
weeks. And it seems her appetite has mellowed a bit.
She still eats everything in sight but is taking 10 minutes
to eat her meals instead of finishing in two minutes flat.
Ive just moved her to two meals a day instead of three.

Im hoping she ends up around 75-80 pounds which is
what her mother is.

Just for fun I got a picture of Abby's mom.
Her name is Liesl. Notice any resemblance?
