I kind of do that. One of my sugar glider's name is Jacobi, aka Jake, and she's a female. Dakota was a female, it's a cross-gender name. Everyone thinks Tesla is a girl because I call him Tessa sometimes. I've changed it to Tessa-man. LOL My poor babies.... Everyone gets their genders wrong. Then everyone just calls Ozzy a girl 'cause he's small, cute, and fluffy. xD
