I have a 9 month old German shepherd pup who's ears haven't blossomed yet. I got my baby girl Delilah, as a newborn. Her mother passed away during birth. And I wonder if that's the cause of her floppy ears. She was bottle fed with the best formulas, but can it be cause of her mother passing away and missing out on her mothers milk? Anyway Here's a few pic and my girl.

Also when we play or go on walks they stand straight up with out a problem. Then when she's just laying down or watching tv she gets all floppy again... So that there gives me hope

Is she pure GSD? Hard to tell by the pic. If they go straight up when playing or walking then do more of that to strengthen them. Put her in situations where being alert makes her ears go up. Maybe talking to her?
My dog's ears are up but they sag out and she looks like yoda when she is relaxed.
