7 Months - So proud of her

So we've had that little problem that whenever she had a toy she'd run away and wouldn't listen anymore.

Problem solved! Amazing what a little training can do, huh? I am so proud of my girl!

That's just amazing! great job!
I've one question, if you don't mind, could you tell me how did you teach her to obey the platz command from distance?
Great job!! She is beautiful and a very smart girl
What kind of harness are you using?
great job!!!! wish Shasta would listen that well!!!

Thanks :)

Actually, I used the same ritual as I do with the food. I let her go down, stepped away, put the food bowl down, requested her attention and released her.

When she ran off I used the same ritual because I knew, if I make one step towards her, she'd run off. So I stepped back, asked her to go down, requested her attention and released her. I turned it into a fun game and didn't re-call her a single time when we worked on the problem, I let her run with the ball and requested to go down or let go of the toy and instead of working my way up to her I made her come to me and then she realized that it's not all that bad when I actually walk up to grab the ball and that it means that she gets to play some more. :)

I am using a K9 Harness and the normal Springer Collar.
I'm going to try that today. Lucy loves to play ball, but will not bring it back and drop the ball, she would rather I chase her. Thanks
nice job.
Very nice! good job :)
looks like you did a wonderful job! Nice job thinking outside the box too to work around a problem!
Thanks :)

Thanks! Im going to try that with helios and see how it goes! :)
Helios won't bring me back w.e he has in his mouth when we're outside playing fetch. The only way to make him come back is walking away but yet he doesn't get near enough, and If he sees that i'm not chasing him, he will just laydown and eat w.e he has in his mouth..
Same here....or he brings it back but no to me....he "outs" it several feet from me. I am unsure if he will platz or out from that far.....worth a try...

GOOD JOB!!!
I also did a lot of table training and trained the sitz, platz and stay. These are pretty much the results of all the clicker training and NILIF I've been doing before hand :)
