Hey guys. My 7 mo old male pup is 75 lb already. His sire was only about 80, which is pretty much what I expected him to do.

He probably won't stop at 80 at this rate, right?

Not the best pics. If the light isn't just right the contours dont show up because he is solid white.

But I feel quite sure he is not overweight. Last vet visit she said he was too thin (he was), I increased his food and he has put on a lot of weight since then. I have been slightly decreasing tryingto find the right amt for him since then where he will be lean but not see his ribs like his last vet visit

Nice looking dog.:) No, I don't think he'll stop at 80. Mine hit a growth plateau though at 9 mos. She stayed at 70lbs from 9 mos to 14 mos. Then she gained 10 more lbs from 14 to 20 mos. But, pretty sure part of this last weight gain is due to winter and we aren't as active. I think she's done though @ 20 mos.

Mine is 27" ATW though, so even though she's got that weight, she still looks trim. Is yours taller too? If so, you may be looking at another 20lbs or so because he's a male. If you can look back at the bloodlines- you might get more clues. My female most resembles (in structure and size) her mother and her grandfather on her father's side. Very little similarity to her father.

I haven't measured his height. He is def already taller than my 67lb working line female. About same height now as my 77lb white mix male, but leaner.

I used to have a measuring stick for my dairy goats, too bad I sold it with the herd!

Here's all 3 of them, pup far left.
