Anybody? If Tommie Girl didn't have issues with adult dogs I would take her.

Sorry, but I have a friend who is trying to find her dog a home and I told her I would help. Here's the stats on Heidi:

*6 yr f(s) German Shepherd
*No papers
*needs this year's vaccs
*knows sit, stay, come, heel commands
*is trained to lay down when small children are around
*Housebroken
*good with other dogs and cats
*Heidi is very sweet and very gentle. She will also make a very good watch dog. My children, 3 yr and 1 yr, have both played with her and she is extremely patient with them. There is nothing medically wrong with Heidi, as far as our friends know. She just needs a new home because our friends have a new baby and only one income, so they can't keep her.

And, yes, she is spayed.
Thanks for your interest. You have no idea how much I wish Tommie Girl would relate to adult dogs differently. But, hey, she's 12... Couldn't change her ways all this time, it won't be now...

Hello,

Sorry for the delay but I only received the pic today. She's a gorgeous sable and the owner would like to speak with whoever is interested. Her name is Becky and her number is (217) 330-6278. I know how hard it is to place an older dog but it looks like she'll adapt easily. As I said, if my 12 year old Queen-of-House-How-Dare-You-Bring-An-Adult-Dog-Into-My-Kingdom wouldn't object Heidi would be ours already.
I hope we can find Heidi an awesome family!!!

What an endearing face she has! With a good brushing and a few pounds off, this girl will be downright gorgeous!
