I lost my two GSD's (Ginger & Spencer) on Saturday at about 5:00 PM in Gloucester County, VA in the vicinity of State Route 17 and State Route 198.

While visiting a former foster (Recon now known as Rayner) and having a barbeque, all three GSD's got out of the house un-noticed. Raynor returned in about 30 minutes (guessing) all wet. but my two Ginger and Spencer never returned. I searched for them Saturday night and all day Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I have notified the Sheriffs Office and Animal Contol in Gloucester County as well as the surrounding Counties of Mathews, Middlesex and King and Queen. I do not think that they could find there way home as I was about 35 miles from home and on the other side of the side of the Rappahanock River which is about 2 miles wide at the White Stone Bridge.

I live by the water (Corrotoman and Rappahannock Rivers) so they may be headed towards an area with water, that is if they have not been restrained by an unknown party

I have distributed about 100 flyers in the area to homes and businesses offering a $500.00 reward for their safe return.

Discription: Ginger: Color: Black and Tan, Age:3 1/2 years, Weight 80 pounds.
Wearing a Green Collar: Tags: Her Name and my phone number, Lancaster County Registration Tag, Rabies Tag and A Home again with Recover tag. (Note GSD is Micro Chipped)

Spencer: Color: Black and Tan, Age:4 1/2 years, Weight 88 pounds.
Wearing a Red Collar: Tags: His Name and my phone number, VGSR TAG # 1691, Lancaster County Registration Tag, Rabies Tag and A Home again with Recover tag. (Note GSD is Micro Chipped)

NOTE: My two Fosters: Kayman and Thunder were at home at the time and I still have them.

If anyone has heard anything about my two please contact me at: (H) 804-462-9899, (Cell) 804-436-5664

I am really heartsick at this point

Thanks, Tom McGrath

Lea, perhaps suggest he try the Findtoto service for the area they were lost. It has helped. Good luck and I hope they are found safe and sound.

On Tom's behalf, I am delighted to report that both dogs are home, safe and sound. They were within three miles of where they were lost and since they were both wearing ID, the guy who found them did not have any trouble tracking down their owner.

What a relief!

Wonderful news! Thank you so much for passing the word along. I am spending hours each week in continuing efforts to find Maya, and I added these 2 to my list to keep an eye out for. Very happy for Mr. McGrath and Family. Now, let's bring Maya and the rest home too!
