My German Shepherd/Lab Mix Pup Keeps Chasing My Neighbor's Cow

I have an 11 month old female German Shepherd/Lab Mix and recently she became very interested in our neighbor's cow and was chasing it.
My goal is to teach her not to chase the cow. We have 3/4 of an acre fenced but she has gotten out before and I just want to make sure my neighbor's animals are safe if that happens again.

Two options come to mind.1.she's only outside under supervision.2.Spend some time at the neighbor's place with your leashed dog acclimating her to the cow and other animals, teaching her not to chase.

I would put my energy into making a secure area for my dog when I can't be right there to supervise.

It does not need to be 3/4 of an acre. It can be 10'x20' inside your fenced yard. It has to be impossible for climbing out of or jumping out of and impossible to dig out of. Then your dog will be safe from a lot of things, including the cow.
