Liars!

Check out this leerburg video-
Jeff Frawley Demos Educator E-Collar at Level 100

Ive done the collar at 100, and it is Painful, it hurts, you wouldnt hold it on yourself for more than an instant unless you are into pain.
This guy makes a fake video claiming that the sensation he feels isnt pain? Oh that sensation is just your muscle flexing??? I pull my hand out of fire, but that doesnt mean its painful, im just preventing my hand from going on fire...
And I do use this same e collar, just I dont paint some false picture that the discomfort the dog feels isnt pain. This guy should wear it for an hour and lert random strangers try and "train" him to do some behaviors at level 100 and I bet he says its painful in less than 20 seconds and before he learns to sit.

i use a dogtra, not sure the model, i forget where it is to look at it. it goes up to 100. i can't hold it and press nick on 50 without me having to throw it. there's no way i would be able to put it to 100 and not be in pain. the only way i can see putting it to 100 and nicking the dogs is if it was to save one of their lives.

we also never use the ecollar to train. we use treats to train. only use the ecollar to correct ignoring something they are already trained to do like failing to come.

I am not against e-collars or bark collars, but people should be honest about what they are and what they do. I do have a friend who trains using them at stims so low I cannot even feel it, but I agree that at the higher levels you're nuts if you can't feel it. I was messing around with a bark collar the other day and it has this glitch where sometimes when you first turn it on, it vibrates once and then gives one shock. It was set on 5 out of 7 and when it shocked me I threw it across the room. It wasn't pain, per se, but yeah if I were a dog that would freak me out.

Yea I watched the video. I couldn't believe he said it didn't hurt. The way his entire neck seized up, ouch! He also said something like this was the second time as the first video didn't work and that the anticipation was worse than the actual stim, yea sure, just admit it hurts!
