New Pup meeting with Adult

Hi Guys, I picked up a 8 week old GSD male last night "Enzo". Today I am taking it to my parents where my other GSD 5yr old Female lives "Maya". I am wondering what is the best way to introduce them to eachother. Thanks.

I would probably do it out front in the yard. That's what I am told to do. But I have always brought a new puppy right inside and held him while other dogs sniffed etc. then put him down with a careful eye

What we did was whenever we want our 10 year old lab to meet someone or another pet we take them into the back yard. So that when we introduced my 6 month old GSD to her we took him into the backyard and now they are best buds

You must be a car crazy guy to name your dog such as Enzo and Maya , My first dog name was Murci , sorry for a little off topic there. When we introduce a new puppy to our other dogs we took everyone outside the front yard and stay real close to watch while they sniff-tigate each other. It works out just fine.

I just went through this a couple of months ago with my puppy and my 19 month old. They met off our property on neutral ground and then were slowly introduced at home starting outside and gradually moving inside.
