Thoughts?

A Silent Killer - K9 Connection

Interesting article, I like the links at the bottom (I'm working my way through them right now). But I thought it was a really good argument for BALANCED training.....no extremes.....just balance. I've seen a few threads lately about "out of control" adult GSDs. Thought maybe those struggling would like to hear about balanced approach, and some may look for trainers that use a balanced approach. I like the first link on the bottom of the article.

Great article! Thanks for sharing!

One of the rescues I volunteer with is (to their detriment in some cases imo) in the AF crowd. This article reminds me of a time when a woman was going to have to give up her dog because she lived in an apartment and it baked non stop. Everyone involved was horrified with me when I suggested using an electric bark collar. Owner and rescue seemed more willing to have to give the dog up than try something sol horrible.

I would love it if one of my dogs baked!

However, if it doesn't turn the oven off, or samples the chocolate, I can see where it could be a safety issue.

It made my day! Picturing this dog in an apron, whistling, the lady comes home and the counter is filled with baked goods, dog is asleep...THE OVEN! Max!
