Puppy walks

Hello guys. I have a lovely GSD puppy. His name is Louis. Louis is now 11 weeks old. He's an absolute darling. I've had him since week 8 and loved every minute of it. First couple of nights it was intense but now good as gold. Louis has had his injections and we go for walks in the park.
Louis has taking to obedience training very well. He's learnt the usual sit, stand, down, leave it, come and roll, heel etc.
we have lots of play time to which he really enjoys. My question is this. How long should our walks be?
Current we go for a morning walk which lasts approx 35mins in which time Louis gives me no indication he is tired and we walk at his pace which is a brisk walk. An I repeat the same walk in the evening. I've had people telling me that I might be walking him too long? But like I said he's full of beans when we are back and during the walk he gives no indication that he is tired. Can you please advise me what u guys think. Thank you.

Since you are careful to walk at your pup's pace - I would keep on with the morning walk at your usual time. For the evening walk, I would do it shorter because Louis will be more tired out in the evening and also to avoid overtiring him so the he doesn't sleep well.

Thanks Mary. I will take ur advise on board. It makes sense like you said. Can't wait for him to get older so we an enjoy longer walks. He's such a sweet heart.

What a adorable pup! He looks so well behaved walking with the family

A leisurely 35 minute walk at 11 weeks should be fine. Most pups will just flop on the ground when they have had enough. I kept my boy pretty active when he was around the same age (had a little mock obstacle course in the yard). What I really did avoid was excessive jumping but normal exercise was good, helps build their muscle.

Thanks Courtney. He is a well behaved young boy. We are training on heel walking which he's very good at.
Louis doesn't really do any jumping at all. It's all walks at the moment. Thanks for ur kind words and advise. I think it's a case of much of the same with the walks and just see how Louis gets on.
