Myah BONKERS over Costco Pastrami

Well, I've always said that the best training treats are roasted meat. I could spend a hundred dollars on trying to find the "highest value" treat that always gets a response, but my standby has always been the $5 grocery store rotisserie chicken from the deli section.

Until now. OMG!!!

Myah smelled the Costco pastrami package I opened up and immediately went through all the obedience commands she knows, without prompting (I caught her in my peripheral vision while I was snarfing down my half pastrami sandwich).

LOL! Okay, Myah Girl. Here you go...

This was a sight to see. Words do it no justice. LOLOLOL!!!

That's hilarious! I would love to see my dog do a performance - heck I would love to see my dog heel correctly! I better widen my search for the high value treat, I guess!

The pastrami made another showing today. Lol! Myah learned patience. A long down-stay!

She will turn upside down for meat

And to think I used to browse the treat section at petco, reading labels, etc. ha!

It's all about the meat tidbits. I bet I could take her out in a circle of squirrels and rabbits and she wouldn't know they were there. Not if there was a slice of pastrami in my hand!

Myah Girl, you crack me up

I never used the packaged treats....I used to buy packages of frozen chicken at Sam's Club, cook them and chop them for tracking....and track on scruffy brush while everyone else was using kibble and lush grass....Kyra would track on anything....

the highest value treat I have ever found with my dogs...esp this family Kyra, dtr Csabre, her progeny Bengal and Komet - has been the mold crust of Brie cheese! If I eat Brie, they stand around me and drool like St Bernards!

Lol! Brie? Wow, Myah and I'll be over. I'll bring the wine, she will bring the pastrami. Well, she might not make it with the pastrami... L
