dogfather dvd

has anyone had any luck with these. We purchased them but have a 4 yr old cockapoo and a 2 yr old shepherd. and i cannot even get either of them to sit still for 2 seconds to start working with them.

was wondering what everyone thinks about this guy.

I think you'd be far better off seeking a trainer to teach you rather than a dvd. Sullivan is just a 'traditional' trainer who uses correction to train. You can probably find more than enough on Youtube to work with your dogs.

Have either of them had any prior training? Are you trying to work with them together or separately? How long have you had these dogs?

If you have no prior experience with training a dog, I agree with the above suggestion about finding a trainer to help you. I have no comments about the DVD you mentioned, but even if it were terrific it would not be a magic fix, you need some basic understanding of dog behavior, and a trainer can help you with that. Group classes shouldn't be hard to find and they're generally not expensive.
