Carly turned 2 in January, and goes to handling classes weekly, and is shown in AKC conformation whenever we can afford it.
Well, I've finally gotten off my duff, and enrolled her in beginning obedience classes. We start April 11.
Years ago, I took one of my Italian Greyhounds to this school for classes with a friend and we had a lot of fun. Yes, it's a positive training place, which is what I am most comfortable with, having trained my Dobe and all my IGs with a clicker.
Their second course of classes involves getting into competition obedience, rally, and some fun agility tunnels, lots of distractions (doorbells, food, etc). I'm really looking forward to it, and I know Carly will love it. They also have a CGC class and a Therapy Dog International class too, which I want to take.
At some point, I'll need to get Sage over there too. I forsee a lot of money spent on classes!!
