What do you love about puppies?

I love it when:
1. I see them learn about the world and ingrain it.
2. he understands what I mean
3. he struggles with a raw chicken back
4. when he is asleep
5. when he tries something scary because he trusts me
6. we made it to two years together and I see the pieces fitting together.

Everything! This is not my first GSD, but it is my first GSD puppy. They are so inquisitive, intelligent, playful, and fearless. Those bright eyes peering intently to figure out something new, even I'd it's only the broom, or a new toy, or a new insect, it just gave me a whole new appreciation for life and the simple pleasures. Every single day brightened my perspective, and no matter what else was going on, I couldn't wait to spend more time with that little monster😙

Looked up from posting the pictures above, and noticed my monster of a puppy happily chewing away on my prescription sunglasses...so I may have slightly overstated when I said everything 🤔

I love the soft smooth pads of puppies. They don't stay that way very long.
I love how everything is new to them. "Look! What is that strange hooman? I will test bark at it" (seeing bronze statue of women sitting on the ground)
"Look! What is that strange white lumpy stuff jiggling? I will test bark at it" (Large floofs of sea foam)
"Look! What a strange being. I will test bark at it quietly and try to pat it with my paw" ( turtle near pond..the turtle was not amused)

I'm a pretty big fan of dropping them off with Grandma and Grandpa for the day

Nothing compares to puppy breath it's right up there with the wonderful smell of a well groomed horse.
Loved his shannigans
Loved and miss his high pitched duck quack bark
Loved Watching him think things through to solve a problem
