Supposedly Shepherd/Lab Mix

Hello! New here. We have a 12 week old puppy, born on March 2 (or so the shelter said) and they claim that she is a German Shepherd/Lab mix. We got her when she was 10 weeks old. We took her to the vet, and she weighs 8lbs. I've googled, and saw that most Shepherd/Lab mixes should be much heavier/bigger than that. Her head seems smaller than it should be, and her paws don't seem very big at all. I'm wondering if she has something else in her, or she's not exactly what they said she was. Her legs have gotten a little longer (maybe) in the last two weeks, but seems like everything else is staying the same. I know every dog is unique in their own way, but we were wanting a medium/large size dog and I'm afraid that's not what she's going to be. (We will still keep her, but will be a little disappointed at first if that's the case.). She's a very sweet puppy, and listens quite well. Any opinions?
