Bite development training and teething

Hi guys, I just want to ask some questions regarding bite development and teething.

My puppy is now 4 months old and will probably start teething soon. I want to take things very easy with him during this time in terms of bite development training.

Do I stop completely with any tug work during this time or can I still use a flirt pole with a soft rag on to continue his prey drive development? He has great prey drive but I am concerned that doing no prey drive stimulation for a time it might lower the drive. One thing I have heard is to tease him with the flirt pole but to never let him actually grip the prey article. This will build up frustration and once the teething process is complete he will bite like crazy. The opposite might also happen: he will become frustrated with never catching the prey item and loose interest.

Also, how long should I wait before I resume bite development sessions? Until he has all 42 of his adult teeth? At about 6 months?

I am training him for IPO and possibly PP.

This Leerburg article on training puppies for bitework, mentions way down at the end, that during teething a soft towel is used and not a tug.
