New puppy with house training

So I'm getting a new puppy tomorrow and my current GSD is a year and a half. He was never house trained cause it wouldn't stick. Until we moved to a house and he had a fence in a backyard. Since we moved, 8 months ago, there hasn't been one accident and he always goes to the door when he's got to go.
So how do I efficiently train this new puppy? I heard that its much easier to train the second one because they learn and look up to the older one. Is that true? If so, how do I make sure that she learns that Stitch(the older one) is showing her how to do things?

The reason it's easier is because the puppy can smell where the older dog urinated and it encourages him to go there. You must still be diligent and take him to the spot while he gains bladder control.
