German Shepherd Reviews

I have a ton of old reviews, I am moving and do not want to take them with. Is anyone interested in them? A few from the 60s and 70s a lot from the 80s and 90s

I'd guess articles reviewing individual dogs/lines - health, dog behaviour, temperament, performance, etc. I've never seen such things, but that's what comes to mind.

It is the monthly mag. that you get if you are a member of the national club, (GSDCA)

Yes, I'd be interested in them, where are you. (I have about the last 17 or 18 years, so the older ones would be good )

I too have a cache of German Shepherd Reviews.
This was the official monthly publication put out by the GSD of America . Lots of adverts with winning dogs for stud , litters , show wins, "some" articles , some big breeder interviews.

Early editions show a lot of direct German imports and how they were used by breeders including Covy Tucker Hill , a juggernaut in the American Show lines.

Interesting as a document showing how much the concept of good conformation transformed into an extreme which became the normal , desirable .
