Opinions, Please!

I have my own opinions on these x-rays, but I'm very interested in what y'all have to say about them! Two different dogs. The first one is a male, I believe he was 10 months at time of x-ray. Two views. The second is female, around 3 years. Single view.

How is the positioning? The clarity? What do you see? What 'grade' would you give them? I'm really looking forward to opinions! Thanks!

(EDIT: sorry, uploaded them too big! Changed to smaller ones)

Both are good technique. The positioning in the first digs us better, but the second is ok as well. It's torqued to the inside a bit more. But ok.

They both have good coverage if the femoral head, greater than 50%, no mottling or DJD seen. Although I do see a bit more laxity in the one hip on the first rad.

Both will pass OFA. Probably get a " Good" if they were a bit tighter, on both, maybe better.

Care to elaborate? PM me if you don't want to give away anything on the thread. I see they were taken a few months ago, so maybe you already have an OFA. Would live to know if I am right!! LOL

Top 2 look passing, bottom one, to me, does not.

I third this, only I could say maybe borderline passing, maybe a fair, or I could just be generous. Top ones it is interesting that with the better positioning on the one on the left, it improves the appearance of the left hip just slightly.

Love how much difference the positioning makes lol. The 1st dog I think will be "good" and the other possibly "fair" but maybe borderline-mild

Positioning and x-ray quality is fine on all of them.

First dog (2 x-rays), 2nd x-ray is better as the positioning is slightly tweaked showing more coverage of the left femoral head. Should pass OFA, probably with a Good, possibly with a Fair if someone is feeling grumpy that day.

Second dog (3rd pic) mild HD. X-ray is good but the femoral heads are flattening and thickening.
