Search and Rescue Dogs of Pennsylvania

I am apart of the Search and Rescue Dogs of Pennsylvania. SAR is such an amazing thing I really love watching my 14 month old GSD work. We always are looking for new helpers to hide for the dogs. We are a small group of 7 dog teams located in Malvern, PA

Victor (GSD) DOB: 03/14/15 AKC STAR Puppy, CGC, THD, Training in SAR
Emma (Boxer/ Lab) DOB: 04/04/111 THD, CGC

Welcome to the forum. We only have a few doing SAR discussions but those who do have been around awhile. My team has a relatively new member who came to use from FCSSAR in Pittsburgh.

Welcome! There are only a few of us, or at least a few of us that post.. What 'discipline' do you do with your dog? How long have you been a part of the team? Pics of you and your dog would be awesome!

Welcome. I'm a relatively new minted area team in CA. Hey this is interesting about "tests" scrambling GPSs. It will only affect CA but just something to keep in mind. Way back when I took a GPS class at REI the teacher said she was geocaching on Sept 11th and the GPSs went dark that day.

Funny, I was thinking about reaching out to them, but foundanother group a little bit closer to me that I am supposed to meet this week.

Just curious, how often does your group train?
